EXIVISION
EXK-DVI Extender series
The ExiVision EXK-DVI Extender series is a family of products which are designed for any application where the requirement is to control computer equipment from a remote point. A typical application could be network hardware or server control, where a Manager wants to be able to switch to and use a server without having to make the trip down to the server room – using an ExiVision EXK extender he can access a server, or a KVM switch without leaving his desk. Other examples of typical usage would be digital signage control, information booth or kiosk control, education or any other situation where for security or practicality the processor (computer) is remote from its operator or monitors.
Use of cat5, 6 or 7 cable structures mean that ExiVision KVM products are easy and cost-effective to deploy.
As with all ExiVision products, the actuality is as simple as the concept:- An ExiVision KVM transmitter takes in Keyboard, Video, Mouse, and optionally serial and audio signals (or any mixture of those signals) from a source - normally a PC. The ExiVision KVM transmitter then uses a custom designed compression algorithm to encode the signals into a form suitable for passing down a network cable structure. An ExiVision KVM receiver is connected at the opposite end of the catX link, and provides the same interfaces (keyboard, video, mouse etc.) as were available at the source computer. You can then work on the computer as though it were right next to you.
The encoding techniques used in the EXK-DVI series ensure the best picture quality at the highest supported (1920x1200)
Dual-headed (two video signals) versions of EXK-KVM extenders are available, and will support workstations with dual-head (twin video) graphic cards. EXK-KVM extenders support a local KVM console locally at the source PC so that you can set-up and control the PC either locally or remotely. EXK-KVM extenders are also compatible with KVM switches so that multiple computers can be accessed and controlled remotely. resolutions.
An audio & serial option is also available which can be specified as an add-on when ordering.

CrystalView
CrystalView allows you to position your KVM station up to 1,000 feet away from your computer using common twisted-pair CAT5 cabling. Video equalization and gain controls adjust brightness and clarity to compensate for for image quality loss over long cabling.
Access to your computers is made convenient in a variety of situations. You can remotely access and control computers in a data centre from your desk. You can remove computers from hazardous industrial environments or locations vulnerable from theft (of hardware or data) and put them in a dedicated host room, controllable from anywhere. Heat and noise is reduced, desk and floor space is increased. Computers can even be moved into a central location for easy maintenance.
The CrystalView Extender is available in two models, single and dual. The single model simply extends your KVM station from your computer. The dual version allows an additional KVM station, and PS/2 mouse next to the PC, providing operation from either of two locations.
Easy to install, easy to use - CrystalView is ideal for medium and long distance communication for KVM switches.
